4 Days in Bali Itinerary for Indian Couples
Bali was always one of our dream international destinations. We had seen so many beautiful photos of beaches, private villas, waterfalls, and floating breakfasts on Instagram that we finally decided to plan a romantic Bali trip together.
So in this blog, I am sharing our complete 4 days Bali itinerary for Indian couples, including flights from Ahmedabad, visa process, hotel stay, transport, food, places we visited, our daily expenses, and honestly everything that helped us during our trip.
If you are planning a Bali honeymoon trip, a budget Bali trip from India, or looking for a Bali itinerary for couples, this blog will help you a lot.

Why We Chose Bali for Our Couple Trip
We wanted:
- Beautiful beaches
- Romantic villas
- Nature + nightlife together
- Affordable international trip
- Good vegetarian food options
And Bali honestly had everything.
Compared to many other international destinations, Bali is surprisingly budget-friendly for Indian travelers.
Ahmedabad to Bali Flight Experience
We booked our flight almost 2 months before the trip to get better prices.
Our route was:
- Ahmedabad → Kuala Lumpur
- Kuala Lumpur → Bali (Denpasar)
We booked a connecting flight because direct flights from Ahmedabad to Bali are usually expensive.
Flight Cost for Two:
Around ₹55,000 round trip
The journey was long, but honestly the excitement of visiting Bali made everything feel easy.
After landing at Ngurah Rai International Airport in Bali, the first thing we noticed was how calm and beautiful the atmosphere felt.
The airport process was smooth, and since Bali offers Visa on Arrival for Indians, immigration did not take much time.
Reaching Our Hotel from Bali Airport
After exiting the airport, we booked a taxi using the Grab app because local taxis outside were charging much higher prices.
Our hotel was in Seminyak, which is one of the best areas for couples in Bali.
The drive from the airport to Seminyak took around 35–40 minutes.
During the drive, we saw:
- Beautiful cafes
- Beach clubs
- Small temples
- Green streets filled with scooters
Honestly, even the roads in Bali looked aesthetic.

Where We Stayed in Bali
For the first two nights, we booked a private villa with a swimming pool in Seminyak.
And honestly, this was the best decision of our trip.
Waking up in a private villa in Bali feels completely different.
Our Villa Included:
- Private pool
- Floating breakfast
- Romantic room decoration
- Bathtub
- Balcony
Villa Cost:
Around ₹4500 per night
Compared to Indian luxury hotels, Bali villas are much more affordable.
Day 1 – Relaxing in Seminyak & Beach Sunset
Since we were tired after the flight, we decided to keep the first day relaxed.
After checking in and resting for some time, we went to explore Seminyak streets.
Seminyak is honestly one of the most beautiful areas in Bali for couples.
The roads are full of:
- Stylish cafes
- Boutique shops
- Beach clubs
- Luxury villas
Every corner looked like an Instagram photo spot.

Visiting Seminyak Beach
In the evening, we went to Seminyak Beach for sunset.
The vibe there was amazing.
People were sitting on bean bags near the beach, enjoying live music and watching the sunset.
We ordered:
- Coconut water
- Pizza
- Mocktails
And simply relaxed while watching the sky turn orange.
Honestly, Bali sunsets feel magical.

Day 2 – Exploring Ubud & Bali Waterfalls
The second day was our favorite because we explored the natural side of Bali.
We hired a private driver for the entire day because sightseeing places in Bali are spread out.
Driver Cost:
Around ₹3500 for full day
Tegenungan Waterfall
Our first stop was Tegenungan Waterfall.
The waterfall was surrounded by greenery and looked absolutely beautiful.
The walk down to the waterfall involved many steps, but the view was worth it.
We spent almost an hour there clicking photos and enjoying the peaceful atmosphere.
Bali Swing Experience
After the waterfall, we visited the famous Bali Swing near Ubud.
Honestly, we were nervous initially, but once the swing started moving over the jungle and rice fields, the experience felt unforgettable.
This is one of the best activities for couples visiting Bali.
Swing Cost:
Around ₹2500 per person with photo package
Tegallalang Rice Terraces
Next, we visited the famous Tegallalang Rice Terraces.
The greenery looked unreal.
We walked through the rice fields, tried Bali coffee, and spent time enjoying the peaceful atmosphere.
If you love nature photography, this place is perfect.
Romantic Dinner in Ubud
At night, we had dinner at a jungle-view restaurant in Ubud.
The atmosphere was extremely romantic with candle lights, nature sounds, and cool weather.
This honestly became one of the best memories of our Bali trip.
Day 3 – Nusa Penida Island Tour
We woke up early because we had booked a Nusa Penida day trip.
A driver picked us up from the hotel and dropped us at Sanur Port.
From there, we took a speedboat to Nusa Penida Island.
The boat ride was slightly rough, but the ocean views were amazing.
Kelingking Beach
This was the place we were most excited about.
And honestly, the view looked even better than Instagram photos.
The cliff shape looked like a dinosaur, and the blue ocean water looked unreal.
We spent a lot of time taking photos here.
Angel’s Billabong & Broken Beach
These two places were located nearby.
The natural rock formations and ocean views looked breathtaking.
Nusa Penida honestly has some of the most beautiful landscapes we have ever seen.
Day 4 – Shopping, Cafes & Goodbye Bali
Our final day in Bali was more relaxed.
We wanted to enjoy cafes, local shopping, and simply spend peaceful time together before our flight back to India.
Exploring Bali Cafes
Bali cafes are honestly on another level.
Beautiful interiors, aesthetic food presentation, greenery, and peaceful music everywhere.
We visited:
- Kynd Community
- The Loft Bali
- Cafe Organic
